My work experience and educational background has developed my interests and skills in working with individuals with complex behaviour. I have worked in the Disability and Justice sectors for decades, initially working in the Justice Department (Community Corrections) and DHHS (Disability Services), before joining Lancaster Consulting Australia in 2017 as a Positive Behaviour Support Clinician.
I have extensive experience working with people across the lifespan from children living with their families, or in Out of Home settings, through to adults of all ages. I enjoy working collaboratively with care teams for individuals who display challenging behaviours as a consequence of their diagnosis and trauma backgrounds, with a common goal of improving opportunities for a happy lifestyle. I completed Psychology Honours and a Postgraduate Specialist Certificate in Criminology (Forensic Disability).
I also enjoy facilitating training in the areas of Autism, Positive Behaviour Support, and Out of Home foster care support.
I love to spend my spare time outside running, cycling and walking my labrador puppy.
