I have been working with Lancaster Consulting Australia as a Support Coordinator since 2021 after having spent the last 18 years with the government and non-government sector, both as a front-line support worker and leading operational SIL teams.
I come into this role with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science Disability and a background in social work. My experience expands from managing and supporting people with complex behaviours of concern to transitioning people from living in an institutional setting (Kew Residential Services) to living in the community independently. I also feel privileged to have set up the first NDIS plans when the scheme commenced in southeast Victoria.
The positive behaviour support framework underpins the work I carry out as I seek to coordinate and develop complex support systems required to enhance the quality of life of the people I work with.
Outside work I value spending time with family and friends.
