Richard has been working in the disability sector for the past 18 years. This spans from front line support worker roles to managing and leading operational teams. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science (Majoring in Disability studies) and a Master’s in Social Work.
Richard has direct practice experience in transitioning people from an institutional setting (Kew Residential Services) to living in the community and experience setting up NDIS plans when the NDIS first commenced in southeast Victoria.
Richard strongly believes in operationalising practices that include positive behaviour support, choice and control and human rights. His passion is to provide quality services for people with ongoing support needs and contributing to more inclusive communities.
